My own:
I really with I could have completed this assignment in the way that it looks in my sketch. When I was starting to work on the straw and hand they were coming out to look very much just like a line drawing and I didn't like that at all. On another note, I think my font choice works well what my piece and it pairs well with the movie. (I don't think many people have seen it...It's a british indie comedy and so freaking cool....it's on Netflix, so get on it.) Basically, it is about musicians that are trying to create an album, the main signer is a man that has a mental disability, and the main character cannot write a song to save his life (he also becomes a little obsessed with the main signer - Frank - thus why the mic is made from his name).
With all that being said, it is not my best work and I plan on finishing it because I want to do the movie justice.

My first thought when looking at your poster I found myself wondering what the object to the left was. I'm going to assume it is a tree but I could be something that is relevant to the movie..I'm not sure. In my opinion, the font choice for the main title could have been better but I do like what you choose for the "birds". As for the composition of the poster, I find it a bit odd and I was finding my self thinning that the "birds" in the background were actually stars and the triangle shape they form is a bit odd. On a more positive note, I like how you accomplished the "birds". They are a little scare looking and I think that goes well with the movie.
